This is a busy time of year at the Festival of Arts. Everyone is preparing and getting things ready for the summer. For the Exhibits Department our work begins the instant the previous summer ends by accepting applications from artists hoping to join the troves of successful artists who already show their works.
Recently read Mildred Pierce by James M. Cain. Wonderful story! Also a great movie with Joan Crawford. His work is mentioned in this year’s Pageant “The ART Detective.” He must have spent some time in Laguna Beach as the main character in Mildred Pierce operates a restaurant here.
