FESTIVAL OF ARTS PRESENTS THE “LANDSCAPES” EXHIBIT
AT WELLS FARGO BANK IN LAGUNA BEACH
Now Through March 9th
Laguna Beach, CA – The view is amazing from here - we’re talking about the 3rd floor exhibit “Landscapes” at the Wells Fargo Bank in Laguna Beach running now through March 9th. Prepare to be inspired by breathtaking landscape paintings, photographs and mixed media artworks by 18 artists who have exhibited at the Festival of Arts. The artists’ works depict a wide range of majestic landscapes from mountainous settings, an arid desert to expansive seascapes. This exhibit portrays the variety of ways in which the artist looks at the concept of landscape.

Curator Pat Sparkuhl commented, ”The unique styles, media and perspective that these artists have explored paired with the exceptional quality makes this is a must-see exhibit.”

The artists include Scott Albert (watercolors), Hedy Buzan (mixed media), Saim Caglayan (oils), Dennis Dunton (photography), W. Bradley Elsberry (acrylics), Rick Graves (photography), Robin Hall (oils), Robert Hansen (photography), Fred Hope (oils), Mark Jacobucci (oils), Tom Lamb (photography), Mada Leach (mixed media), Geri Medway (watercolors), Michael Obermeyer (oils), Jacquie Moffett (watercolors), James Nordstrom (photography), Gerald Schwartz (oils) and Caroline Zimmermann (oils).

The exhibit is on the third floor of the Wells Fargo building at 260 Ocean Avenue, Laguna Beach. It is part of an ongoing series of shows that the Festival of Arts is having at Wells Fargo this year. The Sawdust Festival has an exhibit on the main floor of the building, while Community Art Project (CAP) has an exhibit on the second level. The building is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.– 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Admission is free. The Festival of Arts is a non-profit organization whose proceeds support the arts in and about Laguna Beach. For more information call 949-464-4282.
