The Festival of Arts strives to make the Pageant and art show experience accessible for all patrons by providing services for those who may need assistance.

*Please Note, this summer’s Pageant of the Masters performance incorporates theatrical smoke, strobe lights, moving lights and sound effects. Patrons, please contact ushers or event staff if you have concerns or questions.

Services For Patrons Who Have Mobility Disabilities

  • Drop-off zone with ramp at the front entrance

  • Pageant Wheelchair and Companion Seating on Row A of both Loge and Main Tier at the entrance side of the theater

  • Easy access Pageant seating in Row A of Loge and Main Tier center

  • Wheelchair platform section at our lowest Pageant ticket price. The wheelchair platform section available for patrons wishing or needing to remain in their wheelchairs during a performance.

  • Accessible entrance is located to the left of the main entrance. Ushers will be on hand to assist with seating and to check any wheelchairs, scooters and walkers during the performance. You may retrieve your device for use during intermission as needed.

  • Courtesy wheelchairs at no charge. Advance reservations suggested. Please call 949-464-4231

  • Accessible restroom facilities are located on the Festival of Arts grounds

  • Accessible height transaction counters at the ticket office, fine arts sales booth, gift shop, wine bar, binocular and blanket rental and Intermission by Terra.

  • Accessible path of travel throughout the Festival of Arts newly renovated grounds

Services For Patrons Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

  • Large print scripts with flashlights

  • Venue Reader: An electronic hand-held large print script device designed and created especially for our deaf and hard of hearing patrons. Follow the script on VenueReader’s brightly lit and easy to read 5×7 inch screen.

  • Available at our box office after 6 p.m.
  • Free of charge with Pageant ticket, but a driver’s license or valid ID required for security
  • Return VenueReader after the show

Services For Patrons Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision

  • Easy access Pageant seating in Row A of Loge and Main Tier center

  • Service animals, such as guide dogs, are welcome — simply let us know when booking your tickets.

  • Binocular rentals

  • Space on Pageant ticket order form to explain special seating requirements

Service Animals

  • The Festival of Arts complies with the ADA and therefore allows service animals. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals DO NOT qualify as service animals per the ADA and are not allowed. Anyone fraudulently representing themselves as a service animal owner will be prosecuted under CA Penal Code 365.7.

Handicap Parking

There are 2 ADA parking stalls located at the Festival front entrance. If you have a handicap placard, you may park in an on-street metered parking space without having to pay (for up to 72 hours).  However, you must pay to park in a regular, non-handicap space in the city parking lots.
