Adult/Teen – Watercolors

This is a beginning transparent watercolor class which will cover the basic watercolor techniques and methods. Using these techniques along with some design and composition concepts, students will create their own beautiful landscape painting to take home.

Christine (Chris) Sullivan, a signature member and President of Watercolor West, is considered to be a highly motivating and influential teacher, respected juror, and inspiring painter. Chris was an art professor at Coastline Community College from 1981-2014 teaching watercolor painting, 2-D and 3-D mixed media techniques before retiring in 2014. She received “The Teaching Excellence Award” while at Coastline. In addition, she taught watercolor painting for Saddleback College in the early 1980‘s, and has conducted many painting workshops in the US and abroad through the years. She currently teaches watercolor and mixed media classes at the OASIS Senior Center in Corona del Mar.

All students (or parent/guardian if student is under 18) are required to fill out and sign a waiver before they can participate in an Adult/Teen Art Workshop. Please complete and submit the waiver prior to the class for a more quick and easy check in process.
