Cultural Arts Day

Cultural Arts Day is a new Festival program celebrating global cultures through art, performance, and hands-on activities. Guests can enjoy Chinese Lion and Dragon dancers, Hawaiian hula with live ukulele, and a special performance by ADAAWE (A Dance and African American World Expressions).
ADAAWE’s “Global Soul” blends music, storytelling, and movement from around the world in a powerful celebration of connection and culture.
Throughout the Festival grounds, guests can take part in family-friendly cultural activities and interactive experiences. In collaboration with the Bowers Museum, cultural art projects will be offered alongside Festival Art Center workshops, including paper lei making, Asian brushstroke painting, and African-inspired art activities. A themed scavenger hunt invites guests to explore and discover global artistic traditions.
Join us from 3pm–6pm for Cultural Arts Day, with ADAAWE performing from 5:30–7pm.
