Chocolate, wine, and all that jazz sweetens up the Festival of Arts this summer! On Thursday nights, indulge your senses at the “Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate” series.

Wine and Chocolate Pairings: Sample a wide variety of wines expertly selected to compliment and enhance the nuanced flavor of gourmet chocolates, available from 5pm – 8pm. $30 for three pairings. À la carte options include $3 per chocolate, $14 per glass of wine, or $50 per bottle. Please note: pricing does not include Festival of Arts admission or reserved seating.

Performers: Matt Johnson & The New Jet Set

Matt Johnson and The New Jet Set present “Swingin’ The Disney Songbook!” at the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach. This multimedia musical experience offers behind-the-scenes insights into the unforgettable songs and classic Disney movies that made them popular. Featured movies include Cinderella, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Toy Story, Coco, The Little Mermaid, and many more. The New Jet Set, featuring Chris Barron on piano and as the music director, Miles Jensen on guitar, David Miller on bass, and Adryon de León as the featured vocalist, combines virtuosic musicianship and charismatic personalities to create magical, retro-cool interpretations of your favorite Disney anthems.

Drummer, author, and music educator Johnson, lauded as “a hurricane on sticks” (Los Angeles Times), is equally versed in all forms of jazz, pop, and world drumming styles. He has performed with entertainers like Julie Andrews, Andy Williams, and surf-rock pioneers Jan and Dean, as well as big band legends Billy May and Les Brown. Johnson is also a founding member of the Tony Guerrero Quintet, which has toured with Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress/comedienne Jane Lynch (Glee, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Hollywood Game Night, The Weakest Link) since 2014.

Reserve a Seat!

Guaranteed seating is available by purchasing a ticket in the reserved section (“Nightclub” VIP seating). This ticket includes admission to the Festival of Arts Fine Art Show and the concert. Reservations must be made prior to 3:30pm the day of the performance. Limited free seating is available for each concert.
