Learn how to use watercolor materials and how to use them to create a wonderful watercolor painting. This class will focus on the techniques used in watercolor painting: design, value, color, and composition. Discover the beauty of watercolor in its fluidity, unique to its medium.
Meet the Instructor
Nikita Young is a talented sculptor and painter living and teaching in Orange County. Previously working in business and fashion, Young first became a full-time sculptor, with the privilege of working with renowned sculptors such as John Colman, Bruno Lucchesi, and Richard MacDonald. Young’s work has received significant recognition, and her sculpture is represented in galleries across the SouthWest. In 2025, Young graduated from the esteemed Laguna College of Art + Design with a MFA in Painting, developing work that is imbued with themes of self-discovery and solitude.
Class Waiver
All students (or parent/guardian if student is under 18) are required to fill out and sign a waiver before they can participate in a class. Waivers will be available to sign before the start of the class. You can expedite the check-in process by printing and bringing the signed waiver with you.
