Teen and Adult: Oil Painting

Vibrant and blendable, oil paints have long been a favorite of master artists like Van Gogh and Rembrandt. Festival Exhibitor Carol Heiman-Greene will teach you how to use oil paints in a fun and accessible way! With step-by-step guidance from the instructor, you’ll create a beautiful finished painting to take home!

It was in college that Carol realized her love of drawing and painting could be her life’s work. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BFA in illustration. Even as an illustrator her work was animal oriented, so when she decided to follow her true passion and become a fine artist specializing in wildlife, she felt confident there would be exciting adventures ahead. Life and Light are central to Carol’s work. Her joy comes from capturing even the smallest of moments to the most dramatic that nature has to offer.

All students (or parent/guardian if student is under 18) are required to fill out and sign a waiver before they can participate in a class.  Waivers will be available to sign before the start of the class. You can expedite the check-in process by printing and bringing the signed waiver with you.
