Create your own display platter with natural patterns and designs! Learn how to use tools and nature to create a one-of-a-kind ceramic artwork. Glazing is an optional next step for your ceramics piece. Come in one week to create the piece and come in the next to add color by glazing it. Return August 16 to add color and shine to your finished piece using rare glazes, available for a separate fee.
Meet the Instructor
Andrew Selegean is a sculptural ceramic artist with over 10 years of experience in clay, as well as experience with glass and metal. He started his studies at Saddleback College and went on to receive his BFA in ceramics at California State University, Fullerton. He currently works out of the studio at Santa Ana College.
Class Waiver
All students (or parent/guardian if student is under 18) are required to fill out and sign a waiver before they can participate in a class. Waivers will be available to sign before the start of the class. You can expedite the check-in process by printing and bringing the signed waiver with you.
