Youth Arts: Ceramics – Bird Houses

Create a one-of-a-kind birdhouse that will make any garden the perfect retreat for feathered friends! Kids will learn the art of hand-building while designing a fun, functional home that birds will love—and they’ll enjoy watching them settle in. Spots fill up fast, so reserve a spot today! Plus, kids can return the following week to glaze their birdhouse and bring it to life with vibrant color. Students can return to pick up their birdhouse once it has been fired in the kiln.

Andrew Selegean is a sculptural ceramic artist with over 10 years of experience in clay, as well as experience with glass and metal. He started his studies at Saddleback College and went on to receive his BFA in ceramics at California State University, Fullerton. He currently works out of the studio at Santa Ana College.

Parents or guardians are required to fill out and sign a waiver before their child can participate in the Youth Art Classes. Waivers will be available to sign before the start of the class. You can expedite the check-in process by printing and bringing the signed waiver with you.
