Artist Biography:

Armen Gasparian developed a reputation as a California “colorist” painter in the 1960’s. He was born in Iran, educated at; Calcutta Art Institute, Swain School of Design, and the University of Kansas. He lived in Laguna Beach for many years, exhibiting at the Festival of Arts for 20 years. Moving to England in 1985, an apartment in Paris in 1990, and on to Italy in 1998, Armen was an active painter in all of the locations he lived, with patrons in the US and Europe.
