Artist Biography:
Dagmar Chaplin was born in Berlin, Germany, lived in Canada, Europe, Japan, and 7 states in the U.S. Formal art training was at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her unique, multi-culture influenced representative style celebrates the human spirit. She has lived in the Laguna Beach region and exhibited at the Festival of Arts for more than 30 years. Madame Butterfly was used for the 1999 Festival of Arts Poster.
