ARTIST STATEMENT

“Printmaking allows me to explore color, texture and mark making. By printing one layer over another, each piece carries a history of itself, hinting at earlier incarnations.”

ARTIST BIO

Twenty-five years of printmaking have given Anne her own artistic voice and unique style among printmakers. Looking for beauty, balance and a sense of mystery, her technical yet intuitive process results in one-of-a-kind works of art that blend color, text and mark making.

A Southern California artist, Anne has been a regular exhibitor at the Laguna Festival of Arts for thirteen years. Her original prints have appeared in an international clothing line as well as articles in Western Art and Architecture and in Letter Arts Review. Her monoprints have been featured in various promotional materials, CD covers and a textbook on printmaking.

Anne’s work can be seen at Sandstone Gallery in Laguna Beach and at her home studio by appointment. Her collectors range across the US and Canada.
