“The wildlife I am surrounded by in the Southern California foothills is expressed throughout my jewelry design. I create silver cuffs, bracelets, and pendants that celebrate our local animals in their natural habitats.”

The natural world Karen Boyd views while living in the Southern California foothills is expressed throughout her jewelry design. Working in sterling silver, she designs bracelets and necklaces that tell a story or capture a moment in time. Wild animals caught taking in a moonrise, mustangs thundering across a rugged plain, a mountain lion stalking his prey—these are some of her inspirations. Karen’s jewelry speaks to people who feel a deep connection with nature, especially native wildlife. Karen has an art education from California Polytechnic University and the Otis Parsons Art Institute. She lives in Coto de Caza.
