Laura graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in applied design. During her studies at SDSU, She began making fashion jewelry and selling to local boutiques. She eventually relocated to San Francisco where she immediately got involved in the jewelry community. She began showing her work in many of the local art shows. She also exhibited at two of the major wholesale craft shows, ACC Baltimore and the Buyer’s Market of American Craft. Her work has been shown at more than 200 boutiques and galleries all across the country.
After 5 years in San Francisco, she decided to move back to Southern California. Soon after she applied and was accepted into the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach. She has been exhibiting at the Festival of Arts for 14 years consecutively.
It is fun to see how much her work has evolved. She always strives to create unique designs that will be cherished and last a lifetime with an emphasis on unique and one-of-a kind hearts.
