“I like to use my artwork to share experiences and moments in time with the viewer.”

ARTIST BIO

Michael Panetta was born and raised in Southern California. His career as an artist started at a young age. He was always drawing, doodling, and sculpting. Growing up close to the beach and ocean, he spent most of his free time there, not knowing he was finding inspiration at the time.

In high school, he started blowing glass as an apprentice. He worked with several different glassblowers, then went to Italy to study under an Italian master when he was 24. He came back to Laguna Beach and started his own designs and his own company. In 2012, he opened his own studio, where he currently makes his glass creations. In 24 years of blowing glass, he has been recognized as an award-winning glass artist. His work is influenced by the ocean, as you can see in his creations. He currently exhibits his work at art shows and galleries across the United States.
