Terms and Conditions for Festival of Arts and Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club Gift Certificate Giveaway
Eligibility and Entry:
To be eligible to win the luxury getaway at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club, you must renew your Festival of Arts membership by January 15, 2026. Renewals can be completed online, by phone, or by mail (postmarked on or before January 15, 2025). All qualifying members will be automatically entered to win a two-night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in a Deluxe Guestroom (approx. value: $1,200). A random generator will select the winner on January 22, 2026.
Prize Details:
The winner will receive a two-night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club, in a Deluxe Guestroom, valued at $1,200. Stay must be booked directly with the hotel and is subject to availability. This prize includes the cost of room tax and resort fees but excludes gratuities, service fees, valet parking, room upgrades, incidentals, or any additional charges. The voucher must be presented at check-in and is valid through December 23, 2026. It is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with other discounts, offers, or promotions. A valid credit card is required at hotel check-in for incidentals holding.
Blackout Dates and Restrictions:
The gift certificate is valid for use at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, California, between January 2, 2026, and May 22, 2026, and September 7, 2026, and December 23, 2026. The stay must be completed by December 23, 2026. It may be applied toward any goods or services charged to your hotel folio during the stay, but excludes gratuities and is not redeemable for cash. The certificate is not transferable, cannot be resold, and must be surrendered at the time of use. Use by anyone other than the recipient named on the certificate is invalid, and alterations or duplications of the certificate will result in invalidation. The certificate cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. No change or exchange of service will be offered for any remaining value. The voucher is not valid on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, major holidays, or surrounding dates. Other blackout dates may apply, and availability will be subject to the hotel’s discretion.
Tax Responsibility:
The winner is personally responsible for any taxes related to the prize. Prizes are considered earned income by the IRS and must be reported accordingly.

By entering, you agree to receive promotional communications from the Festival of Arts. The Festival of Arts reserves the right to modify these terms or cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances. All prizes are subject to the Festival of Arts terms and conditions of sale. The Festival of Arts is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of the gift certificate.
