Check out the\u00a0extraordinary lineup of back-up singers or backgrounds vocalists who “step into the spotlight” at the Festival of Arts.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Catte Adams first came to recognition nationally with her winning of $100,000. on\u201d Star Search\u201d with Ed MacMahon, as female vocalist in it\u2019s second and most viewed season. She went on to tour the country and open for such stars as Liberace, Bob Hope, George Burns, Gary Shandling, Don Rickles, and Joan Rivers, to name a few.<\/p>\n
She has earned the coveted position many times over, that pro singers dream of, as \u201cband member\u201d for Michael Bolton, Natalie Cole, Yanni, Chaka Khan and Tracy Chapman on national and international tours and has provided vocals for a who\u2019s who of international recording artists including Michael McDonald, Phoebe Snow, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, and many more too numerous to mention.<\/p>\n
She has been the voice for countless international and national television and radio jingles including Coke, Pepsi, Mazda, Jeep, Toyota, Exxon, White Rain, Cadillac, Cannon, Only Diamonds and many others.<\/p>\n
She has written her own self-titled CD project and has written for many recording artists such as Dianne Schuur, Patti LaBelle, the Pointer Sisters, Brenda Russell, Carl Anderson, Jonathon Butler, and David Mann.<\/p>\n
Catte continues to tour and perform in Los Angeles with her band Beautiful People.<\/p>\n<\/div>
