The Music of Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison

Rock ‘n Roll to the hits of Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash in this fantastic tribute to the musical legends! Featuring performances by Buzz Campbell as Buddy Holly, Neil Morrow as Johnny Cash, and Travis Daggett as Roy Orbison.

Buzz Campbell

Buzz Campbell is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter.  He founded his group, Hot Rod Lincoln, from San Diego, CA in 1990.  Buzz met Lee Rocker while opening for him and approached Lee about producing his first release.  Lee produced self-titled CD, Hot Rod Lincoln in 1992 as well as Blue Cafe, the bands third CD, in 1996.  The title track, “Blue Cafe”, was written for Buzz by Brian Setzer, original frontman of the Stray Cats.  In 2000, Buzz was asked to join Shanana, 1950’s revival group whose legacy includes performing at Woodstock, a cameo in the movie Grease, and their own TV show from 1975-1981.  Buzz left Shanana in 2004, after Lee Rocker asked him to join his group.  Buzz has been touring the world with Lee ever since and is on all of Lee’s releases since 2004.  Buzz penned the song, “Crazy When She Drinks” for Lee, which was released in 2008 on the album, Black Cat Bone.  In 2015, Buzz approached Lee with the idea of doing a theater show telling Lee’s musical story.  Buzz brought in Larry Mitchell on drums and Joey “8s” Guevara on piano to complete the group.  The show has been receiving rave reviews for the fantastic musicianship, as well as the amazing storytelling of Lee’s musical journey.

Neil Morrow

From Classic Rock, Rock n Roll, Rockabilly and Country, Neil Morrow’s repertoire of songs is quite impressive. With a schedule of around 200 shows a year, Neil keeps quite busy living his dream of being a professional entertainer. Not only performing with his band, but also working as a Dueling Piano player. A form of entertainment that involves music and comedy, two of Neil’s favorite things. Now after being in the business for nearly 25 years, Neil’s career has led him to some notable performances and experiences. Neil has recorded music and appeared on “Sister Act 2”, “E.R.” and recently the Netflix reboot series of “Full House”, titled “Fuller House”, just to name a few.

Travis Daggett

The son of musical parents, Travis Daggett began playing guitar at the age of 14. Starting out in church playing gospel music with his preacher father, Travis quickly branched out after discovering–and falling in love with–the sounds of roots rock and Americana. Based out of the greater Los Angeles area since 2012, Daggett has been performing all over the globe–from across the USA to Africa, Asia, Canada, Mexico, and Disneyland–and has shared the stage with musicians from all walks of life such as Tom Jones, Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), the Beach Boys, John Stamos, King Leg, Lukas Nelson, Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), J.W. Brown (Jerry Lee Lewis Band), Neil Morrow, Big Sandy, Buzz Campbell (Hot Rod Lincoln, Lee Rocker), Russell Scott, Jonny Bowler (Guana Batz), Eugene Edwards (Dwight Yoakam Band), Brian Whelan… the list is ever growing. He’s also one the country’s premiere guitarists for 1950s era Elvis tribute artists, and has channeled the late, great Scotty Moore behind premiere Elvis entertainers such as Scot Bruce, Dean Z, Brandon Bennett, Cody Ray Slaughter, and many more.
