Behind-the-Scenes

To see what’s involved in being a volunteer cast member, let’s follow young Karli, a student from Dove Canyon, as she prepares for her first Pageant appearance in “A Kiss on the Hand” by Gerolamo Induno. It all began with signing up in January. During casting call, hopeful volunteers are measured and photographed. Two complete casts (designated the Blue and Green Casts) alternate every other week throughout the summer for the entire performance run. Karli was chosen for the Green Cast.
