Event Series Event Series: Selections from the Collection Exhibit

The Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach is thrilled to present its latest off-site exhibit, Selections from the Festival of Arts Permanent Art Collection, open now through September 16, 2020. Located within the exquisite The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this exhibit showcases a variety of artworks from the Festival’s Permanent Art Collection.

The exhibit showcases both classical and contemporary works in a variety of medium such as painting, photography, ceramics, watercolor and printmaking. Among the many pieces on display are Edgar Payne’s painting “Payne Lake,” Stillman Sawyer’s photograph “Sculptured Sand,” Ken Auster’s painting “Laguna,” Julita Jone’s print “Rhinoceros Unicornis,” and Tom Lamb’s photograph “The Gates-Christo, NYC.”

The Festival’s collection is made up of over 1,150 pieces and is composed of an eclectic mix of two-dimensional and three-dimensional work that date back to the early 1900s. The Festival of Arts Permanent Collection expands annually through purchases and donations and includes paintings, sculptures, ceramics, printmaking, glass, photography, mixed media, furniture and jewelry. All of the artwork selected for the Festival’s Permanent Art Collection reflect the uniqueness and diversity that is synonymous with the Festival of Arts and the region surrounding it.

The Selections from the Festival of Arts Permanent Art Collection exhibit is located at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel at One Ritz-Carlton Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629.
