| $25.00About the Class
In our Recycled Materials class, we encourage creativity and environmental awareness by teaching children to make their own vision books using recycled materials. With the guidance of our instructors, your child will choose a theme they’re passionate about and create a unique book filled with various images and stories that they’ve selected. Join us for a fun and educational class that your child will love!
About the Instructor
Janice Althouse has been an educator for 28 years in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. She has taught various grades, though her favorite is 2nd. Happily married and with three grown children, Janice has taught art classes for many years after exploring art classes in college. She feels art is an amazing way to express yourself and believes that all art is so beautiful to look at – whether you’re talking about children’s art or adult art. Janice loves art and thinks that getting started in any kind of art medium is the first step to becoming creative. She is so excited to be given the opportunity to teach at the Festival of Arts this year.
