“Each summer the Festival of Arts has brought some of Southern California’s most well-known tribute bands to perform on our stage. The True Willie Band has been a favorite for many years, and we are so proud to be able to keep the tradition this summer,” said Susan Davis, Director of Special Events at Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach. “We hope the public will tune in and enjoy some great music, virtually!”

Known as the most authentic and convincing tribute act to Willie Nelson, The True Willie Band has quickly become a top choice for audiences across America. The True Willie Band honors the music of this beloved performer and the influence he has had not only on Country and Western music, but also on American music history. Join front man Roger Heygi and his band in celebrating the excitement and journey through a timeless story through songs with incredible vocals, phrasing and incomparable likeness to Willie Nelson.

The Festival of Arts continues to find innovative and immersive ways to help the community stay connected while also encouraging the appreciation, study and performance of the arts. In addition to the virtual concert on August 27th, the non-profit recently launched foaVIRTUAL, a 3D immersive online gallery experience that allows guests the unique opportunity to explore and purchase artwork from over 120 Festival of Arts exhibitors from the comfort of home. Earlier, the organization also launched foaTV, an online library of videos created for the fans of the Fine Art Show and Pageant of the Masters.

“Our hope in offering digital and online experiences is that we will continue to be a resourceful, entertaining and enriching abode for the arts,” said Sharbie Higuchi, Director of Marketing and PR.
