ARTIST STATEMENT

“As a storyteller at heart, I weave symbolic imagery into figurative paintings. These symbols, often implicit and surreal, emerge from dreams and fantasies, inviting viewers to explore the kaleidoscope of possible meanings embedded within.”

ARTIST BIO

Alla Bartoshchuk (Musgrave) is a Ukrainian-American representational fine artist who works in a variety of different traditional media with an emphasis in oils.

Born in Rivne, Ukraine (1988), Alla moved to the United States in 2005. She received her BFA from Memphis College of Art (2010) and later completed her MFA at Laguna College of Art and Design (2013). She currently resides in Southern California and splits her time between her studio practice and teaching.
