ARTIST STATEMENT
“I celebrate the peace that I feel when in Nature. I strive to isolate a part of the vast world into a single moment, for an experience that is both intimate and striking to viewers.”
ARTIST BIO
Cheyne Walls is a nature photographer based in Laguna Beach, California. He attended the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, which led him to a successful career in automotive photography. After ten years, Cheyne transitioned to his true passion: landscape photography.
His landscape images have garnered numerous awards, including gold medals from the Epson Pano Awards, MML International Photography Awards, and Professional Photographers of America IPC Awards. He has also been honored with a publication in National Geographic and has had his work inducted into the permanent art collection of The Wildling Museum of Art & Nature, where it will be displayed alongside original pieces by Ansel Adams.
In 2020, Cheyne was awarded a Master of Photography Degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and continues to exhibit his work throughout the United States and internationally. He remains one of the youngest photographers to receive these prestigious accolades.
