ARTIST BIO

A Southern California fine art photographer who spends an unreasonable amount of time turning strange ideas into photographs. His cinematic, story-driven images blend humor, curiosity, and social observation, often placing ordinary people in extraordinary situations and inviting viewers to decide for themselves what is really going on.

As the owner of Load Bearing Studios, Foster has spent decades behind the camera creating images for clients, publications, and personal projects. Along the way, his work has earned numerous awards, though he remains convinced that the best ideas usually arrive while driving, showering, or trying to fall asleep.
