“Think.Joy.! When I’m painting, I’m focusing on pure form, color, lines, and composition. Each piece is an expression from my core, my soul—inviting you to slow, look closely, and hopefully feel joy!”

ARTIST BIO

Isabelle’s transition from CEO of her own consulting firm to full-time artist was shaped by a moment of profound clarity—one that arrived during the final hours of her mother’s life.

At 96, her mother shared a reflection that would become a turning point:

“I’ve thought a lot about what I would say to you when this day came—what might truly reach you, what could turn these last moments into a gift. I have one important regret, and it’s not about what I did, but what I didn’t do.

I always found reasons not to fully pursue my gift as an artist—work, family, caring for your dad, and eventually losing my eyesight. There was always something that came first.

You have the same gift, and I’ve watched you set it aside, just as I did. So here is my advice, after 96 years: use your gift. Develop it. Commit to it fully.

You are turning 60 this year. If you don’t do this now—right now—you never will.”

One year later, Isabelle closed her company and began painting every day.

What followed was not simply a career change, but a return—to something essential, deeply felt, and long deferred. Her work has since become both a vital creative force and a living expression of her mother’s legacy.

Today, Isabelle is a highly collectible abstract artist whose work is held in private collections across Canada, Europe, China, South America, and throughout the United States.

Her paintings have been seen in American Art Collector and in Condé Nast publications including Vanity Fair, GQ, and World of Interiors. She was the first abstract artist interviewed on the prestigious American Art Collective podcast.

In the United States, her work is represented by Peterson Contemporary Art (Bend, Oregon), Sandstone Gallery (Laguna Beach, California), and Libby Silvia Artstyle (Wellesley, Massachusetts). It is currently in a show at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and available by request through J Willott Gallery (Palm Desert, California). She has also shown work in US gallery shows in ArtShare Perimeter Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, California; in Jane Hamilton Gallery in Tuscon, Arizona; and in the Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Isabelle is exhibiting in 2026 for the 5th consecutive year here at the Festival of Arts.

Internationally, Isabelle is represented by Singulart in Paris and has exhibited in gallery shows in Stuttgart, Germany; Paris, France; Madrid, Spain; and Innsbruck, Austria.

She also holds a Doctorate in Education Policy, Leadership, and Change from University of Southern California (USC) — a foundation that continues to inform the intention, discipline, and depth of her work.
