The Festival of Arts is elated to officially announce the re-opening of its iconic Pageant of the Masters and Fine Art Show this summer in Laguna Beach. This long-awaited announcement befittingly comes on World Art Day, an international celebration of fine arts and creativity.

Tickets to the Pageant of the Masters production of Made in America: Trailblazing Artists and Their Stories will go on sale to the general public starting May 3. The decision to move forward with plans and preparations to open both shows in early July was approved by Festival officials during the organization’s board meeting on April 14th. “The Festival has been working closely with the Laguna Beach City staff and would like to thank them for all their input and help to aid us in reaching this decision,” said Festival of Arts President David Perry.

“We are thrilled to reconnect our community with live performances of the Pageant of the Masters and with our exhibiting artists this summer,” continued Perry. “It has been a very challenging year for everyone – especially the arts community – and we are overjoyed and feel blessed to have arrived at this moment.”

The health and well-being of the non-profit’s patrons, artists, volunteers, vendors and staff remain a top priority for the Festival of Arts. The board and management team will continue to work in partnership with public health entities and government officials to implement new protocols to keep guests safe, comfortable, and healthy

“The Festival of Arts has always been and will continue to be a vibrant gathering space for visitors and community members to come together to appreciate the visual and performing arts. We are poised to safely re-open our doors and welcome Festival patrons as well as the many participating artists and community volunteers in re-establishing physical and emotional connections, which are a key component of our mission,” added Perry. “We know, from decades of serving the community with face-to-face events, that connectivity is vital to the health and success of the arts.”

Nationally and critically acclaimed as one of the finest outdoor art venues, the Festival of Arts Fine Art Show will open on July 5th and welcome patrons daily through September 3rd. Also making a much-anticipated return to the Festival of Arts summer schedule will be the world-famous Pageant of the Masters’ one-of-a-kind tableaux vivants or “living pictures.” The 2021 production of Made in America: Trailblazing Artists and Their Stories will run July 7 – September 3, 2021 with tickets on sale beginning May 3.
