Artist Biography:
Marco was born in Campi Bisenzio, a Tuscan village, in 1942. His parents encouraged him to follow his interests in art. In 1959 he enrolled at the Istituto Galileo Galilei, where he studied architectural drafting. His interest in painting led hem to study with the painter, Silvio Loffredo, who was a student of the Austrian master painter, Oskar Kokoschka. In 1967, after the flood in Florence, he moved to California. It was soon thereafter that he began showing his artwork at the Festival of Arts until 1984.
