Artist Biography:

Mike Tauber received his BA Degree in Art at San Diego State University in 1985. In the 1990’s he worked as an architectural illustrator and muralist, with commissions in Baja California, Austraila, Brazil, and the western United States. He began focusing on ceramic tile in the mid 2000’s. His Golden State collection reflects the natural beauty of California in classic kiln-fired tile. His painterly style, perspective, light source, and rich texture are key elements to his work. Mike continues to present his artwork at the Festival of Arts.
