Artist Biography:
Born in Manhattan Beach, California Fred began studying ceramics at the early age of 16. Three years later he received a scholarship award from the Festival of Arts. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine. Inspired by architecture, minimalist painting, and jazz music, his approach to creating personalized ceramic forms is recognized by sharp edges, bright colors, and razor sharp glaze delineation.
