Artist Biography:

Helen Weld was born in Sacramento, California. Her fanciful approach to image making was only matched by her infectious laugh. Entirely self-taught, she focused on the more humorous side of life in her artwork. Her comedic representations of human characters and animals, often playfully exaggerated, where uniquely her own. “Art and life are interchangeable for me. I am forever curious. Composition, color, texture, and a whimsical look at life play an important part in my paintings.”
